Inverness Stag Mini Highland Games
Scotland is world famous for its Highland Games which celebrate Scottish sporting tradition and traditionally tested the mettle of would-be clan warriors. So why not experience your very own stag do mini highland games set in the countryside to the north of Inverness?
You get:
Two hours of fun-filled activities with your own personal instructors in highland countryside.
You get to become a bona-fide Scotsman!
Enjoy some of these popular games:
Tossing the Caber :The caber toss is a traditional athletic event in which competitors pitch a large british telecome pole called a “caber” in front of them.
Tug o’ War: Traditional event where two teams attempt to pull the opposing team across a fixed mark with nothing more than a muddy rope and their muscle.
Hurling the Wellies: Throwing a welly boot as far as you can.
Weight O’er Bar: The weight is thrown one-handed over a bar set at increasing heights above the thrower. Similar to the high jump or pole vault the thrower has three attempts for each successive height. Places are determined by maximum height reached with the fewest misses.
Puttin the Stane: Same as shot putt but using a large stone instead as we are Scottish cannot afford the real thing
Our instructors are there to encourage and coach and also help make your experience memorable.
Let the games begin! Remember to bring older clothes and trainers to wear. Kilts optional but so much more comfortable - PS nothing to be worn underneath
We run on a 1 instructor to 8 guys
