If you are looking for some budget accommodation for your stag group in Edinburgh, then we have a range of hostels, dormitories, guesthouses and apartments that might suit you.
If you really want budget, cheap as chips then you will need to opt for a dormitory style which sounds horrible, but most of our Stags say that it turns out to be great fun. You might want to check on the snore volume of your group before you book. In fact if you are awake in the middle of the night then recording the audio of the room and then posting to Facebook could be an embarrassing laugh. We have hostels all over town and even at the busiest times of year we should be able to accommodate you find.
There are a few budget apartments available around Edinburgh that accept stag groups. As you might expect, these tend to get booked up pretty quickly and they also tend to work best for smaller groups. If you are planning a large party and you are anticipating more than 12 guys in the group, then we will probably struggle to find apartments that match your need in the budget range.
We do get some guesthouses that will accommodate Stags in the off-season and the best thing about them is the hearty breakfast that is included in the rates. Again, you need to move early for these as we tend to book them out first.
Remember: almost all accommodation providers now insist on a good behaviour bond from all groups and most especially from stag groups. This is a cash bond and is returned at the end of your stay providing there has been no damage. It's definitely worth getting the group on side and making sure they understand that setting off fire extinguishers, throwing things around the room, is going to cost you money.
