Besides bending down for the soap in the shower does life behind bars seem pretty tame to you? Instead of a night on town try this instead and see if you change your mind! Travel about two and half hours to a disused Russian military base which has a military prison in use until just ten years ago and still has all the facilities and equipment. Upon arrival 'prisoners' are searched undergo a medical assessment photographed and interrogated.
The activity is operated by some of the original prison staff and involves mild abuse doing push-ups jogging wearing gas masks and a lot of shouting and pushing around. The group are then left to occupy the original cells either locked up for the night or left to wander around with some lager. Optional 3am drill available!
The group uses the canteen with authentic Russian menu and in the morning the 'felons' are set free and taken back to the hotel. Definitely a night to remember. Your prisoner registration card with photo is sent out to you later.
